I did not really like the Grande Punto EVO Sporting 1.6MJ. I have been drove the Bravo 2007 1.6MJ ECO 105 which I fall love of comfort seat and much more comfortable than the Grande Punto. I have check the service history and HPI it looks good but one thing that caught my eye on is the service history said gearbox bearing replace at 66,000 miles now the car is 72,000 miles. I am not sure I believe I hear all the 1.6MJ gearbox prone failure bearing noise is this correct?

Should I avoid this type of gearbox?
