Okay, so after a long weekend of cussing, bending, shaping, drilling and modifying my new seats are finally bolted in (y)

I fail to see why the Bravo seats were so uncomfortable out of the factory, although I have heard sport and dynamic seats are better. These seats are just "next level" very comfy and supportive when giving it some around bends :):)

As for the rears, the rear bench is about 3 inches too short so unfortunately is a no go. I will be spraying them black though so it will fit in much better :)

3 door seats in a 5 door are actually fairly useful. I've used them already getting my daughter in and out of the car - just gives me that extra room while I strap her in :)

What are the seats out of? I'll leave that for people to guess!

Interesting mod but for me where I'd want everything to be just 'so'. I'd want the back seat and door cards to match the front seats.

I would agree coming from a 147 that the seats are more comfy than the Bravo ones but I don't find the sport spec bravo seats all that bad.

Oh don't worry, I fully intend to match it all up nicely.

Baby steps as I like to do all the modding myself ;)

For the time being, I get to enjoy a comfier car :)

I would have fitted the sport interior, but they are as rare as rocking horse s***! I've been looking for as long as I've had the car lol

What happens with seat air bags and seat belt warning?

The seats have chairbags just like the Bravo. I have wired it all up but it still comes up with "airbag failure". There is no longer any seatbelt warning (which I kinda prefer cause I hate it beeping at me if all I'm doing is turning the car round, manoeuvring etc)

I am assuming at this current time that the system doesn't recognise the 147 chairbags.

I have seen these fitted to Grande Punto's, with no errors, so I'm going to seek the advice of a auto electrician or someone with the correct tool to get everything working an error free :)

That looks great Rob. I can see the comfort in those seats. Lots of thigh and back support. The lumbar adjustable?

Cheers bud! Unfortunately the lumbar isn't adjustable which is a shame.. but then they aren't adjustable in the Alfa 156 and those are probably the most comfy seats I've sat in!

I think the key is in the spine, the sides hold my back nicely, I know it sounds lame but for me the whole feel of the car has changed :p

My glass grommet still hasn't arrived - hold long did yours take to arrive again?

i ordered on the Monday morning it arrived the Thursday.

And yeh that lumbar support looks perfect and deep anyway. I feel my lumbar support could be deeper to hug me better, but it's comfortable enough for me. I do agree the Alfa seats were much better. I had a 147 eleganza courtesy car whilst my bravo had it's steering rack replaced and it was soooo comfy.
