I carried out an engine diagnostics on my car and it said it was the EGR valve. I replaced the EGR valve and car is now fine.

However the engine warning light is still on. I have made around 8, 15 mile journeys and it still will not go off.

Should it have gone off by now or should I clear it again? Sometimes the EGR valve can trigger the MAF sensor to make the engine warning light go on.

have you checked which code is coming up now (after the EGR replacement)?

Not yet I am going to this weekend. Just thought it was strange how it has not gone off yet.
