Ive been thinking if i got a chip for my Bravo, would it be possible for me to set it up like a sport mode button ?
So if i press a button on the dash the chip activates and when press it again it goes off ?
Or would it not be worth doing it just have the chip on permanently ?

It's completely useless to have button because everything is better with a remap even fuel economy so there's no point in having a "weak" mode.
 
Hey guys i'v got the tb racechip on my 150 sport and all off a sudden when i push it above 3,000rpm i hear this noise in the engine bay cant describe it but it comes on and off and when im in 6th gear and push it the noise continues until i let go of the gas. has any 1 experienced this problem?
 
so has any one experienced this kind of noise in the engine bay? Sorry Tony123 for taking over your thread
 
@ Q dance..I have the same problem over in my bravo & its remaped too..I opened over here a topic & still we didn't reach for a solution..PLEASE when you fix it out anyway let me know too..this is mostly a turbo surging :(

yea its funny cause 1st, 2nd gear it's normal no noise but when i drop it to 3rd gear and like on the video the noise comes on.. a sledge hammer might fix the problem haha
 
Oh my god..!! NOW THIS IS THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM I am facing..when I go full throttle on 1st-2nd gear nuthn goes wrong..then from 3rd gear after 3.5-4 rpm I go hearing a weird sound from the turbo side like wot wott wtt on & off in seconds & doesn't stop unless I remove my leg from the throttle & I even can't go more than 160km/h the car goes into safe mode because of this problem..did you try to remove your tuning box to make sure its not a software problem?

im gonna try that next take off the tuning box see if thats the problem, if so then i might open the tuning box at set the power a little bit down see if that helps
 
Ok while driving today i didn't hear the noise i dont think its a turbo surge think it might be something else...
 
Well now I need to know..is this mostly a software issue..or something mechanical!?
 
Alrighty, well here's an update! so i took off my racechip to see if the noise from the engine bay would go away but it didn't so i had the car booked in and got it checked out, the guy said the turbo was the suspect he opened it and 30min later it was fixed!, so i don't believe the racechip had anything to do with it.. i did leave my car in the garage for 6+ months so it looked like that was the problem..
