Was just wondering if I blanked off my egr on my multijet 150 will this bring up a fault or warning light ?

Any information will be greatly appreciated

Almost certainly will.

Plenty of posts on this site about EGR blanking (many in the Croma forum).

However there is an official "restrictor plate", often referred to as a "bullet hole gasket" which substantially reduced EGR flow and thus crud getting into the inlet manifold.

Beyond the restrictor plate then you have three options.

1) keep cleaning the EGR valve
2) have EGR electronically removed via an ECU reprogram
3) do a fresh air EGR intake. (info in the Croma forum)

It will, and if the bullet hole is not big enough it will keep bringing up the MIL light (for insufficient EGR flow)...

Don't know with FES, but it can definitly be worked on by someone who does remaps (and obviously knows what he is doing;) )

You thinking about deactivating it?

Multiecuscan (was FiatECUScan) can not remove EGR function.

Anything that involves a "mapping change" can not be done with Multiecuscan and there are no plans that I know of to either. Thus far the author has stayed well clear of such functions.

As pointed out by johndoe there are plenty of independent garages / people who can map out EGR and DPF.
