I purchased my 2008 Bravo 1.9 M-Jet 150T back in February 2009. At the time I owned a Renault Megane 1.9 120 Dynamic sports hatch. The purchase was typical of me, saw the car and just loved the look especially with the 18" alloys. I took a very basic test drive and immediately handed over a very upset Megane and a pile of the 'folding stuff'.
However once I started to have a play with the car I was no longer smiling the performance being most disappointing. It handled like a 'barge' when you tried to go round a corner at anything over the national speed limit and the pick up from the engine was very poor. The Megane would have run rings round it. Talk about style over substance.
So what to do, after some thoughts of trading in for an Alfa GT I decide to try and see if I could improve the car by spending £500 - £600. I joined the Fiat forum and read loads of posts and web articles before ordering up the following parts:
TMC Value box, Eibach Pro-kit springs & Ragazzon sports exhaust.
So I've placed the orders and am sitting backing waiting for the postman to knock. Mind you in the current climate I might be in for a bit of a wait.
I will fit the parts one at a time and let you know how I get on.
