I recently fitted a Towbar to my 07 Bravo that I bought from Ebay. Phoned to get the Electrics fitted by a Proffesional as I didn't want to blow the car up.........
He asked me ....'Does the car have a CANBUS system ??'
I said that I wasn't sure, but went onto the Brink/Thule Website to have a looksee.....
Brink/Thule Website said ...... 'Canbus........No' in the techie blurb for the 07 Bravo.
Took my Car into the Auto Electrics place ...showed him the webpage that I had downloaded.....Fine.. no Probs says the Auto Spark.
Later that day, Phonecall from Spark........'Doesn't work....must be CANBUS !!' :bang:
need a Relay. Fiat do a kit for £140 (Good old Fiat !!)

Got one from a place in Peterborough for £40.

Two days and £150 lighter ....... All working now.

Does anyone know if ALL the Bravo's are CANBUS or is it just the early ones ??

Probably just an error on the thule website. A relay is a good idea in any case. I popped an airbag ECU with a dodgy trailerboard... shared fuse

They do have a canbus system. I was going to get an alarm fitted on my car and the place said that it needs a special module otherwise they wont be able to wire it up.

be careful when buying electrical mods.
