Hi

Does anyone know a trick on how to remove the centre cap of the 17" sport alloy without marking them????? (the cap covers the wheel nuts)

Is there a tool you can buy rather than using a screw driver and marking them.

I hate damaged alloys

Please help

M (y)

Just use a screw driver or the blade of your key. If you mark them then your doing it wrong. They just pop off without much force being needed.

I've had mine off a few times using a small flat bladed screw driver and not a mark was left.

if your worried about using a screwdriver, mine came off easily enough using a GAME loyalty card!

:chin:

A new competition....

What's the strangest thing you've used to remove your alloy wheel centre caps? :p

Mine's is mother nature herself in the form of wind. During a storm the wind blew a plastic flower pot down the driveway and into my rear wheel which in turn knocked off the centre cap. How did mother nature know I intended to paint my brake calipers the next day :D

It wasn't Mother Nature mate... Sorry to tell you that! It was someone trying to "borrow" your wheels but got scared and ran away when you came out :p

Hope it will never happen to any of us cause I love them 2tone alloys!:slayer:

My car is on the way from Italy to Poland - I've changed my holidays and I'm going back to Poland in 2weeks (i'm just back to ie from there since wednesday) to collect it and drive it back  CAN'T WAIT!

I sat and watched it happen from my window holding my breathe as the plant pot headed for the car wondering exactly where it was gonna hit :D!

Huge sigh of relief when it hit the Wheel and the only damage was a knocked off centre cap :)
