I bought my 57 plate Bravo as a pre-registered car with 14 miles on the clock. I was given the remote key and a simple "manual" key. When I got to read the handbook, there was reference to a code card that I would need if I needed extra/replacement keys.

There was no sign of such a card in all the bumphf I had, so I rang the dealer. They said they don't provide the code cards any more, just go to parts department.

So, any of you Bravo owners, is that right?

They are telling you the truth.

Codes are kept by the ISR in the UK market.

I'd had visions of going to my local Fiat dealer and having a conversation along the lines of:

Me: My remote key is broken. I need a new one.

Tech: Can I see your code card please?

Me: What card, I don't have one?

Tech: Well, you'll need a new ECU, ignition lock, door locks.........
