Before well all get excited - this is a Singapore market car.

As the name suggests it has 185hp from the T-Jet 1.4. It says that Abarth have tuned it. The price is SG$2000 more than the 150 over there - that's £740. The article states the difference is the remap, the exhaust and cold air intake.

Why can't we have cars like this? No, we have to pay £3500 to fiat just for a lousy 25hp on a Abarth GP.

"factory-sanctioned reprogramming of the engine’s electronic control unit"

Mmm, I wonder....

Sounds like quite a lot of tuning on what underneath is - presumably - a 'stock' FIRE engine. Do I guess they don't offer the extended 5 year warranty in Singapore?

Or.........Buy a multijet and knock on the door of GSR or Angel tuning.

A very sensible alternative; provided you're deaf of course, and can't feel the vibration through the clutch pedal... ;)

I be surprise as Singapore is one of the cleanest country in the world. All we can say is we get rip off on everything in this country!!!

I live in this small country which we called Singapore... it's still by far one of the cleaniest country in the world :slayer: (on STILO) what do u mean by 'we get rip off on everything in this country?' ...which country?

the remap does very little to affect CO2 emission... the slight increase is nothing compared to other car makes...

i'm considering a remap soon but it won't cost around $2000SGD... in fact a lot lesser now :D
