Is there a way to set the volume for traffic announcements on the stereo? On my Croma you can't - you get an announcement and its really loud. Can you default it on the Bravo?

Just had a look through the sound system manual, looked up on Traffic Announcements but couldn't see anything on volume for that in particular,i know what you mean when suddenly you nearly jump out your skin when an announcement comes through

Especially when the wife and little one are asleep on a long trip!

I think you can adjust it when you get one - then it defaults to that volume the next time you get one.

It's been a while since I got shocked by an announcement.

I think that its adjustment has something to do with the volume you have preset and with an automatic volume increase depending on speed.

Check via Menu what your volume preferences are set to and try to disable the volume increase. But honestly I am not sure, though, it's the right way. Anyway I remember I played with the stereo settings recently and I got significantly quieter traffics volume.
