Won't a 2.0 16v diesel with extra bhp/torque make an abarth version of the Bravo pretty much a no-go? Especially if Lancia are wanting to make a return to the UK and other markets with the new Delta which is a bravo is a different frock.
I mean who will want to spend an extra 4/5 grand on an Abarth/Delta with around 180bhp when for 16k you will be able to get a 165bhp multijet which will be mappable to 200+ and cost less to run.
Cant see the point of `200+ bhp` Bravo`s` or Bravo/Delta chassis vehicles really.. ..being as thet don`t handle too good on the twisty stuff
Do you not get bored of using half facts to put the Bravo down?
Suspension plays the biggest part in how a car handles it's power. Thats why a gp Abarth handles better than a regular GP despite the same chassis.
Point taken, but you`re never going to get a `trailing arm` suspension car to `handle well`, so yeah.. i do know what im on about..:slayer:
oh.. Abarth may handle better but still not good !!
i think a bravo abarth only available in 3 door would be a very good idea. keeping the 3 door exclusively to abarth will help abarth to differentiate their brand from fiat, as they are currently trying very hard to do. it would also help to sell the 5 door version because top of the range model credibilty always feeds down to the rest of the range.
I like that idea ;-)
define 'handle well'.
BMW 1 SERIES... says it all really :yum:..
The other halfs got one which we use for local driving..
bought the Dynamic for munching up the miles on weekends and i do find it a comfortable cruiser tbh, just a little to soft maybe..
.. i do know what im on about..:slayer:
oh.. Abarth may handle better with uprated suspension parts but still not good, just better !!
Sorry it's one or the other. Either you know what your on about or the Abarth handles "not good".
When the GP Abarth has proven road test after road test to out handle it's competition you cannot claim to know what you are on about. sorry.
Most cars in the `GP` class are `trailing arm` anyways so its comp is not going to be much of a challenge now is it.. remember.. shopping cars need boot space for ermm... shopping, manufacturers use this set up 1, it frees up space, and 2, its cheaper than dbl wish/b !!
