I bought TUTELA CAR EPYX "SAE 80W-90, API GL -4+" transmission oil for my Fiat Brava 1.6 16V '99. Salesman said to me that I can use it without any problems, but i want to ask you about it.
Is it also your recommendation for transmission for this car and could i have any problem if i use it?

api gl4 shouldnt be used. you need an api gl5 oil. gl5 is for heavy duty use where as gl4 is for light use. in a modern car you should only use gl5. a gl4 oil is needed by some older cars because it is less corrosive that gl5.

So you suggest to don't use it....fu*k i bought it already...

only use it if you drive like a granny.

if the bottles arent opened you could take them back and swap them for gl5 oil. the price is usually the same for both. i recommend castrol, you can tell the difference, especially in winter.
