I am trying to fit a Grundig MCD30 to my Bravo and when i connect the two the changer gets power but the head unit isn't recognising it. When you scroll thru you get radio / tape / aux . not mcd as the handbook indicates.
Any ideas

Actually, the head unit DOES recognize it, if it wasn't connected you wouldn't even get the AUX option.

You have the same changer as me!! Except mine doesnt come up as AUX, it simply says "CD".......

Sounds daft but make sure you have everything plugged in tightly and correctly!!

If all else fails.. i only paid £10 to get mine done properly...

No but isnt the cd changer only for a brava ??
ps where did you get MCD30 from as I have bought a Fiat Marea and mine is missing ............. sell me yours and buy one for a Brava ???

If you turn the radio on and insert the cd changer it wont recognise the magazine or cd until you turn the radio off, turn it back on and allow 30 seconds for it to scan through the 6 cd's your hear it clicking.

Once done press the SRC button and your get 'MCD' display and the CD will start playing. Or at least it does on mine.

But according to the manual there were several different head units,
