I'll be putting my winter (five spoke alloy) wheels back on the car shortly for the winter and while I can't be bothered getting them properly refurbed or coated given that they're wrecked and 'tat' for winter, I can maybe be bothered with a coat of paint and lacquer (because silver wheels just don't suit the car). So, do I colour match (I have matched paint) or black again?

Opinions please :)

out of the two options id say black

but personqally id go with gunmetal, i may be biased but it rocks :slayer: even with the polished lip looking worse for wear my whells still look the ogs from a distance, esp the spoke colour :D :yum:

They're the old 5 spoke ones I used to have on. I don't have long to do them, hence a quick job. And charlie, while the winter wheels are on, the show wheels will be getting finished off at long, long last!

Nice thought Dave, but I don't think it would match the car

i think you should do this :D

pink spokes with a silver rim (y)

any other ideas you want me to try :chin:

Pink makes the wheels look well bigger (assuming you didn't increase the size of them while changing colour?), the black seems to make them look smaller. As for mixed colous, I'm just masking round the tyres, no fancy colour schemes for me on these wheels, save that for the nice ones :)

Two wheels cleaned, two to go, just having a tea break. Then mask and tomorrow we spray, Tuesday we lacquer, can't wait. If you think pink wheels will look dumb, this is your last chance to point it out before the deed is done ;)

oh helz please be careful. if they're exactly the same colour as the car then it'll look good imo, but another shade from the same colour family is always going to clash, as a girl you should know that.

i'm imagining all sorts of shades of pink and so far i'm still cringing.

personally i think anthracite would look good against your car's colour, possibly with a dark chrome line around the outer rim.

Yet again all ive got to say is

Pink :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:
