no such thing
from reading on the forum you should know the basic start off points of better breathing and flow for the engine.
there will always be faster cars, you have what oyu have so why spend big money on a 1.2 when you can get an HGT?bet modded 1.2 insurance wont be much cheaper than a big engined standard car

Go for angel tuning or celtic tuning. I E-mailed Celtic tuning the other day and asked about getting my car remaped and having a CDA Air filter put on.

They emailed back saying for the remap & CDA air filter it will cost £425 and at the end of it my car will have 95BHP with 100lbft torque.

So go do the same as me :D

425:eek: what will the fuel economy be after that? and what will the insurance difference be? or do you want to take the risk of having void insurance if you dont tell them.

a standard 1.6 bravo with 103bhp and 110lb/ft will set you back a few hundred more, and its only group 6 insurance. if you want a faster car buy a faster car, its almost always cheaper in the long run.

i suppose i have beaten a few of them at times. but they were not trying...lol...

any how i better just wait and see what happens in the next few months. i think the first thing is to make sure it passess its mot in the next few months.

come to think about it when is that due

The remap increases fuel econemy so it will be slightly cheaper to run. Plus your forgetting about compasion and a cars personality. Its like i would never get rid of sunny for another brava. it just wouldnt be the same. it would look different, feel different, wouldnt have the same quirks that add to its personality.

Hopefully dillenger agrees with me(y)

does your 1.2 bravo reli have 95bhp?

Are you talking about me? If so then no, but if nothing goes wrong with its MOT and i dont have to get rid of it then yes it will have 95.

This is the E-mail Angel Tuning sent to me about remaping. Dillinger this will help you out ALOT :)

Hi

Thank you for your enquiry.

Our charge for the 1.2 16v is £217.38 all inc (£185 + VAT). This price includes the remapping work to add up to 9bhp, (11lb ft torque) pre and post testing, acceleration testing providing conditions allow and travel to your home or workplace. Each engine map is custom to the car and the drivers requirements (hence the “up to” as we can do less if required), tested on the road, where it counts using a calibrated performance meter when conditions allow.

We can also provide a package with the excellent BMC Carbon Dynamic Induction kit (see www.angeltuning.co.uk/bmc.htm ) which will increase the power by a further 4 - 6% as not only does it increase the power on its own, it allows us to increase the power of the initial mapping due to the improved air flow rate. The total package price on this is £375 all inc for everything included in the mapping, plus supply and fit of the CDA. This combination package will give you an additional 13bhp over standard.

We would like to state that we are not the sort of company that tries to get the ultimate extra 1bhp at the expense of drivability just to look good on paper or on an internet forum. Our aim is to achieve the best combination of power, longevity, economy and as mentioned, drivability.

The ECU remapping we do is physically and diagnostically undetectable. Of all the cars we do, some 75% are either brand new (i.e. pre delivery for dealerships) or under warranty because of the stealth nature of it. However, we do understand owners concerns, which is why we offer a free* “return to standard” for any owner who is concerned about taking their car into the dealership with the modified mapping on.

ECU remapping is fully reversible, which means if you are unhappy with the results on the day, we will return the car to normal and thank you for trying us. After this, we offer a 14 day "cooling off" period** during which you can at least get the chance to test our work over distance and familiar journeys. If once again you are unhappy for any reason, we can either modify what we have done or indeed return the car to standard and give you a full refund.

Angel Tuning are a UK wide company with locations strategically placed to ensure coverage. We are big enough to cope with the largest of demands but still retain the small company approach to care and flexibility. By becoming an Angel Tuning client, you benefit from the experience of a company tuning 80-100 prestige cars per month and a commitment to customer support and satisfaction.

In addition to the products mentioned here, Angel Tuning also supply and fit, Eibach suspension, Powerflex bushes, Red Dot brakes and can put together packages to suit all requirements. Please view our main website for details on all these products and more. www.angeltuning.co.uk

I will leave you to consider the details, should you require further information, please do not hesitate to either drop us another email or call us for a friendly chat on 087 091 091 16.

Best regards

Nigel

Hmm :chin: referring back to the other thread

AGAIN dillinger39 on the street ka thread said:
i would rather drive slow and cautiously and be allowed to have fun on the track than fast and dangerously, endangering my life and joe publics life. am sure any law abiding driver on here one hundred percent agrees with me. so therefore the way i drive on the track is legal as well as on the road. the limits are there to protect your life and the lives off others.

The web of safe driving you claim to be and have is unravelling now ;)
