Hi everyone.

I've got a bravo and want to put 17's with 205/40/17 tyres on it but not sure if they will fit. Everyone I have spoke to say they will fit but the problem I am worried about is I am a Carpenter and unfortunately have to use my car for work so I carry alot of tools in the boot. Will all this weight in the back cause the wheels to rub everytime I hit a bump?
If they will fit how much, if any, will it throw my speedo out?
Also, does anyone know if Stilo wheels will fit as someone told me they wouldn't?

Cheers

Im not an expert on bravos but if your car isnt lowered then i doubt they'd catch. If it is lowered then use 195/40 17 tyres and/or get your arches rolled. They shouldnt throw your speedo out by much, maybe a few mph. Stilo wheels will fit but spacers will probably be required.

Hi mate. I have Bravo lowered 45mm on 17's with 205/40/17 tyres and it DOESNT rub with boot rammed of ice and 2 ppl in bk and 2 in front. Check out the pics. Coments welcomed

you should get away with it, the general consensus is 195 but 205 is done quite alot aswell, and if it isnt lowered too much it will be fine, even with a boot full of stuff.

mines lowered 25mm atm with the boot filled with sounds on 195 17's and theres a million miles of space, even when the car is 5 up (looks the tits decked tho... must get some adjustable coilovers soon...)

As far as the stilo wheels are concerned i have a pair of stilo's on mine. and they do fit. Just bought it today, so no modds as of yet, but as far as the stilo wheels i think they look pretty smart

Punto boy, that looks F***** close bruv, are you sure they dont rub bad boy. im plannin on gettin it dropped 40mm all round, wasnt sure if 45 was poss.

60 is poss with no rubbin on the back... just catches ever so slightly on teh front arches when you go round on full lock and hit a bump..mine is 40mm on 17s and i have no problems whatsoever... boot full of ice and 5 ppl in (i no its not allowed but it had to be done :p) and it didnt scrub once :)

Yes mate im sure. I had 2 ppl in bk last nite and me and m8 in front and Was givin it some hard cornering and no rubbing. Mine is 45mm on jamex suspension. I think it sits beautiful as is. Loving it.

Any comments welcomed.
