hi, i'm thinking of rewireing the airbag led to get its power feed, from another indicator, such as abs/injector. to make it turn off a few seconds after ignition is turned.
can anyone guide me through this procedure ? if anyone has donw some rewireing that is :)

Why would you want to do this? It shouldn't be on in the first place! (If it is, you can just get the airbag unit reset if there's not actually anything wrong. If you removed the airbags or something, just disconnect it)

I know that, and i also know what my problem is, its the common ECU. i just need it as a temporary solution, as i got MOT in a few weeks, and can't afford a new airbag ecu, so i have unplugged the airbag ecu, and removed the fuse, just to be sure that it won't detonate.

so i will still be needing guidance

The airbag light should never come on, so it being off all the time should not attract attention. You could just pull the dials forward as much as possible and disconnect the light itself (taking them out completely requires taking out most of the dash). If it's not on they'll most like not even bother checking it.
