I'm guessing i know this one, but would a faulty coil affect the gauges?

example the temp will flick up and down gradually or ill notice it slightly rise over a long journey then flick down nothing dangerously high and seams to be working fine just annoying i noticed it most when sat waiting for someone (ignition on and engine not running it jumped up and down from the point it was settled flitting about if you like)

now I'm thinking is that because i have not fully bled the radiator?? (yes i still have the water noise in the dash when i start the car)

and the fuel gauge seamed a bitslow put 20 quid in and got around under halfway then on next journey showed empty for quite some minutes usually when ignition is on it moves up,

allso when ignition on but not running engine oil light sometimes on sometimes not, sometimes faint and/or/ sometimes not on at all,

simple answers and opinions please.

sorry if my posts are all over just didnt plan on starting it till friday, and well after going to look at the plugs in the morn thought s0d it ill post up all my niggles now thanks.

The guage for temp is most likely caused by air in the system. The ramdom oil light might be caused by a filthy switch giving incorrect signals, or it just needs to be topped up. As for the fuel guage, i find with my car where you park it affects it a lot. I park in the usual place in the retail park with a quarter tank, when i come back the guage is it at half, go down the road 2 mins later its down into the red!

Finally just bled the system so all should be good for now,
Don't fancy taking the dash out for such I minor thing unless I was going to replace it with some sort or digidash (that's even if you can get them)
