My exhaust is literally dangling by a thread (Well not literally) but the back end def needs replacing. I've got a '96 Brava
My confusion is about the replacement parts i'm seeing on the net. They seem to show a pipe that spirals round the rear box for my cars year yet my car has no such thing. My tailpipe comes directly from the box.
Has my car got the wrong exhaust? Will the one with the spiral pipe fit and work?

well... i dont think u have wrongone on, as i think its standard w/o no spiral...

Is yours a 1.4? When I changed my exhaust I noticed that the 1.6 and 1.8 tail pipe went around the silencer but the 1.4 didn't. When I replaced my exhaust I replaced the original Fiat exhaust and that didn't wrap round the tail pipe. Oh myn is the 1.4 by the way. Hope this helps.

It's a 1.6, from what you've said it's probably down to the garage i bought it from. They probably put on a 1.4 exhaust, probably not a mistake either, they shafted me by putting on a battery that shouldn't have gone on a car bigger than 1.1 and it ran like crap for the first year. Thanks for your help guys i'll buy the one that wraps around
