Does anyone know of a mod for brava back lights. My idea was to have all of them clear but ive been informed that this cant be done , any ideas folks? Cheers.

i don't get this, why can't you have them all white with coloured bulbs in them, surely the effect is the same, did you ask the dvla ?

i think you'll find that its not the legality (altho red reflectors are required) but rather the availiability that is the problem. Much as with the seicento, bravo's aren't seen as an overly lucrative market for the light cluster companies who therefor don't make products for them.

NOS Guzzlers are just lower beings :D

tights over the rear lights is a bit tacky though.

instead of using tint spray, which also looks tacky, why dont you colour code them? Go to a decent spray shop, get them to mix you up a very weak mixture of your body colour and paint it on very thinly.

Done properly, the lights will still shine through ok. If you dont want bodycoloured, you could spray them any other colour.

Or alternatively, a cheap way of doing it is to buy red tint spray rather than black, easily available from halfords.

Cant you go to a scrap yard and get the clear back lights from two brava's and then put them in place of the four red ones, and just use red bulbs to replace the clear ones. i don't see how that would be a problem. if it's ok with poleeese i might do it myself

Tint em!

tinting the red lights will pass an MOT as long as you don't apply too much spray. the reflectors are on the bumper, so as long as you can see the red lighyt clearly they can't fail you, i put two bulbs in my brake light clusters, passeed MOt last week. ;)
you shouldn't tint the reverse lights as they will light up purple and look crap. do as in the picture of the N reg Brava except for the middle section. i'm gonna spray the inside reflector bit on mine in black. should look good.
if you've got a light coloured car, it'd look good with a fine mist of body colour
