Hi (Brava 1.8 elx)
on a trip out yesterday I heard a clunk from under the car and then a loud exaust leak. On stopping I found that the bolt that goes into the side of the downpipe just in front of the catalitic convertor joint had disappeared and just a perfectly round hole in the downpipe remained.
The question is have I just lost the bolt and washer, or is there also a welded nut that should be in place for the bolt to screw into? or does the bolt just screw into the downipipe direct?
