I bought my missus a 2000 Bravo 2 weeks ago.
Ive got a 98 Brava myself. Anyway, last night it had been raining and we was helping a friend move out of her house so we loaded both cars up and went on our way. Anyway, story short, the missus crashed into the back of me! (DOH!)
My Brava has just got a cracked bumper but her car is a bit nackered. Its repairable which is good. New bumper, Bonnet and driverside headlight needed and possible cross bar (where the chassis number is)

Anyway, my question is... if I can buy the parts from a BRAVA will they be exactly the same for a BRAVO.
I know they look the same but just asking incase there was some hidden thing that they need from the set vehicle (or am I just talking bubbles)

Also, as hers is a 2000 if I bought them from say a 1997 model would that be ok aswell? (Just incase there was a design change or something)

the only parts you need to worry about are the wings & bumper if you are going to use bravo HGT or Marea parts as they are wider, you can still use the bonnet, slam panel etc.

So aslong as the parts are bought from a standard Brava/o (non HGT or Marea) then they will be fine?

Ahh slam panel.. Never knew it was called that.
Ill give you a shout on the slam panel. im waiting on someone to come and look at it to confirm I only need those parts so ill get back to you. (if it hasnt gone by that time)
Im taking it I can transfer the silver panel over (on the left side with the vehicle details on)

yes that will be fine.

The chassis number etc is just held on with plastic clips so no problem to replace

Ive been lucky. Ive managed to get all I need........bonnet, slam panel. headlight and bumper, all in the right colour for £75.00.
Cost me £30.00 in fuel to get from Manchester to Scunthorpe and back.
So im looking at it as £105 in total to get the car reparied without the need of a respray. Theres a couple scuffs and little scratches on teh bumper and bonnet but atleast it gets the car on the road again.
So just been looking at my own Brava on how the bonnet goes on etc so Im guessing an hour to an hour and half job tops.
