Things you will need, carburettor cleaner, rags, and a screwdriver, the tps is located on the throttle body, which is easy to find as it's also where your throttle cable ends. If you remove the pipe that goes from the airfilter housing (airbox) to the throttle body, usualy has jubilee clips at each end hence the screwdriver, you can see inside the throttle body, inside there is a circular flap which opens when you accelerate, you need to clean all the gunk out of this area, including opening the flap and cleaning as much as you can behind the flap too. Once you have cleaned this area put it all back together again.
To reset the tps you have to disconnect the battery for appx 1 hour, make sure you have your
radio code or it may cost you to get it decoded. After an hour, reconnect the battery, then this is the important bit, switch the ignition on, DO NOT START THE CAR YET, and leave the ignition on for 90 seconds, then turn the ignition off and wait for 90 seconds, finally start the car, do not touch the accelerator, and let the car tick over (idle) for 5 minutes, this time is crucial as this is when the ecu relearns it's settings. After that your car should be fine. Good luck. Ps if I got any part of that wrong could someone please correct me. Should be ok though as it worked on my bravo.
