last week I saw a grey bravo hgt on ebay being broken up for parts. What caught my eye was that he had a powerflow back box and mid section, powerflow hi-flow cat, and powerflow front pipe all of course in stainless steel for sale, I know that a hi-flow cat normally costs about £300 so when he told me that for the whole exhaust system he wants only £170 I had to grab that, as an offer like that will never come up again I doubt, especially that its only done 300 miles. Got it all fitted on Saturday and all I can say is WOW, its fantastic. Think its the first mod Ive done where you can feel a REAL power increase, much more than I expected! Even got a wheel spin out of it in 2nd the other day in the rain which Ive never been able to do before. So if your thinking about getting a hi-flow cat...DO IT!!! You wont regret it (y)

lol expect to pay around £1000 for a decent manifold cos simpsons exhuasts quoted me £1200 lol thought it best to leave it for a while lol

I have installed a Racing Sebring Cat 2 months ago. I was really surprised from the improved perfomance. Especially at the "blank spot" of the 3rd gear (2500-->~4000rpm).
It was an excellent buy, with future gains as this cat supports up to 200bhp, so i don't have to change it, when i'll change my engine.. ;)

Whats it sound like ?
Not sure what just the cat sounds like as Ive replaced the whole system except the manifold, but mine now has a lovely low down growel, and as you accelerate it has a lush deep tone to it but at cruising speeds of 60mph and above its almost silent which I like as my peco one on my punto was deafening and made motorway journeys hell!
Jug I do want a better manifold but I think Ive just been put off, thanks donny lad :p

a stainless 4-2-1 performance manifold is usually £300.

i could use a stainless steel 4-2-1 manifold from a barchetta on my car, it would fit on any 1.8 bravo/brava/marea/mk2punto. i couldnt find one, been looking for months.

5 - 2 1/2 - 1

i'm sure someone told me 5 - 1 was as good as it was going to get anyway?

after my MOT i should be going for a decat

it is mate unless youre wanting more torque and less power the 4-1 design give more peak power, the only difference between fiats and simpsons is the aftermarket has better airflow

ive always wonderd what would happen if you had a small exshuast for each outlet like on the drag cars lol
