General bravo front wing

i had a bit of as knock last year and i needed a new wing..the wing that was fitted isn't fiat. it stands proud, theres a big gap between the door and the wing and its just not the right shape.

I got sideskirts a few weeks ago but the paintshop is so busy they could only get around to doing them last week..the painter started on the sideskirts on thursday but hurt himself on a compressor so he couldn't finish them. So I thought i might aswell try and fix the wing before i fit the sideskirts. went looking over the weekend but every wing seemed to have some imperfection.:bang: :bang: I'm going to have a ring around today and see what i can get!

thanks jug!

Its either fix it now or leave it. it isn't really that bad but i notice it every time i see the car. and when i sell it, it will be spotted a mile off!

they bolt on, its easy, i thought there was a single weld where it meets the sill but i was geting confused with another car (escort i think) so its simply a case of bolting it on, should take half an hour at most.

that sponge is just foam covered in a sticky coating, its used to block the gaps up, you can pull it out easily enough without damaging it. i had to do that when i laid the live wire for my amp through the wing.

Jug you are getting old :p your memory is going  Your brain can only hold so much information! Otherwise soon it will all spew out uncontrolably they will have to put you in a home where you can bore the carers by randomly telling them how to change injectors whilst dribbling... :D

a home?! hell no, i'm going to a scrapyard.

No thats not the bit i'm talking about..when you open the door you can see that and you can pull it straight out. But i'm talking about on the inside of the wing the metal is bent out to join up with the car..its like a lip..there is some kind of adhesive used there.
