I have just been given some 17" alloys for free and i know that they wont fit on my punto but im looking at getting a saxo vtr and they may fit onto that.

But the holes in the alloys (were the bolts go through to attach it to the car - not sure what there called) have 5 holes in it and the car i have now and also the car im going to get have 4 holes in it.

How can i get them to fit would be the main point of this post lol

cheers

!!!! thats **** these alloys are free so that saves me like 600 quid already haha. dammit. So there is no way of doing it then

just make some adaption plates.

its not actually that hard.

either that or find out what they will fit (usually the deisel varients have 5 studs) i.e if your after a saxo then look at the derv saxo's and derv xsara's to see if there are any 5stud models and then try and get hold of the front and rear hub assemblys. (its harder than it sounds) but you should be able to "adapt" if to fit ;)

imo though its not really worth doing unless you are capable of adapting it yourself becasue for the cost you may aswel sell the rims and buy some that will fit ;)
