Re: some hood rats keyed my car

Sorry to hear that, shame you could not get hold of the little f*****s. Had it done to a car I had too so I now how it feels.
Guess nobody is supposed to have nice cars eh?, don't suppose all the t-cut in the world will mask it?, how deep is the scratch?. Had you ticked anyone off or did anyone tick you off prior to parking the vehicle?

Re: some hood rats keyed my car

i did wanna hit anyone i saw but when i parked up noone was around so i hit a post but 2 years ago my punto got broken into there and every thing was nicked so i guess not to park in clacton the scratch is down to primer but i got a touch up pen and put down the scratch and the got some very fine wet and dry and rub it down then tcutted it now u cant noticr it untill u go up close and look for it

Hi mate sorry to hear about the coupe, visit a few local bodyshops and get a couple of quotes, but it works out about £100 a panel to paint, then repairs on top say .5 per panel per scratch, then comes the trim time r+r any parts, and finaly the materials on top they dont actualy cost that much but they always make out its very exspensive (its the same stuff thats on the space shuttle from nasa honest!) over £100 then yours is the broom yellow not the easiest to match (fades) good luck Ant!

hi, sorry doesnt help, ive had ba####ds do sim, 2my motor.
i was kind of lucky, igot most of scratches out with drill
polishing head & rubbing compound,& may isay a lot of
hard work. the very next weekend my wifes car was marked,
u dont want 2 hear anything else from me as i,m getting very angry
jusr thinking ,bout it. best of luck.........

I seriously feel for those whose car has been willingfully damaged. The sad thing is, unless we see someone doing it to our cars, there's no one we can really vent our anger/frustration on. I've had my previous car keyed on the side of the bonnet so I know what you all are going through..

cos the only place i left my car was in clacton and i had just cleaned it before i parked there
