Hi all, this is my first post so please be gentle! And apologies if I ask any seemingly silly questions.

My recently purchased and much adored 500 Sport has acquired a couple of problems I need ironing out. First is where I clipped a Merc parking, there is no paint damage but two parallel dents an inch or so apart about 5/6" long towards the driver side wheel arch, then (sorrowfully) on the actual arch of the wheel arch it has dented slightly.

Secondly some absolute scumbag has splashed/poured a very hard resin type substance across my passenger window and all down the door. It was obviously wet at the time and possibly mixed with a white paint, but it has dribbled down the door and splashed on the window.

I have tried a cellulose thinner on the window and with a LOT of effort, SOME of it comes off. But obviously this is not safe for the paint.

So my question is how do I get the resin type stuff off? What do I need to be searching for? Would the same type of company be able to take the dents out and remove the resin with some kind of buffer?

This is my first proper car and I am devastated that he is not perfect anymore!

Thanks in advance and apologies for the long post
