Ok i've had my baby-bitch a week........ Arrived home from work as usual, parked Cinq on drive as usual. Went out with some mates, came back an hour later as usual, found inch square of paint missing from front bumper, not as usual. Turns out my dad, instead of getting my keys and moving the car to get the trailer out from infront, decided he would try and pull it out by hand, subsequently c*cking up majorly and damaging my car! An inch square of red paint missing may not sound too bad, but when it's an imacculate car u've had a week it's much upsetting! Anyway now i've finished ranting :I what i would like to know is..... is it possible to get the patch fixed invisibly at a body shop WITHOUT respraying the entire bumper, or should i just get the old git to buy me one of those 2-pen touch up kits and do it myself?

Excuse my language and thanks in advance for any advice!!

Cheers!! **sob**

i seriously doubt you will get a good enough match for doing the small section, fiat reds are notorious for fading...

You will have to get the whole front bumper resprayed so it does'nt give a 'patchy' look

I have considerably more mods, THAN YOU!

Have you people not heard of CHIPSAWAY or MRCHIPS?

These are a national franchise of guys who come out to you and repair scratches, dents, shopping trolley knocks, stonechips, etc. They get an exact colour match, do the work on your drive and are very reasonably priced, I had a shopping trolley scratch done for £80 in about an hour, looks like new! They also do repairs to dash and upholstery. Cheaper and more convenient than a body shop!

Check out your yellow pages.

if your paintwork has faded, then get hold of some rubbing compound, which will fade the new paint for u to the same level, then T-cut the whole car!
