I have a 1.2 Sporting in bright blue and i was just wondering how easy would it be to take the black bumper strips off the front and back bumper and spray them the same colur as the car ?

or leave them on and newspaper the bumper up and spray them in situe?

would i have to get special plastic paint if it is possible to spray them ?

i would personally paint on[as there a nightmare to fix back on],mask bumper off,scuff inserts with some 500 dry sandpaper,spray plastic primer on [3 light coats about 6 inches away and 15 mins between coats],give light scuff down again using dry 1200 or 1500 sandpaper and paint as above [same 3 coats ect],

MAKE SURE YOU GOT ENOUGH HEAT[A HEATER,HOT AIR GUN,HAIRDRYER]...

They can't be removed off the front and back bumper they are on solid and just that black colour. Only ones that can be removed are the side strips along the side of the car.

Only way to colour code is to mask the rest of the bumper off, sand, prime, spray....

Sorry I meant for a MK1, but I realised you have a MK2 now they should come off no problems if not mask them up!
