got my skirts done and need to put them on but as im a cheap bastard i thought id give it ago.....how wrong i was.

i have just been outside for 3 hours and havnt even put them on, any idea what to do with those 2 black clip things?

i have no idea and looks kinda easy if i knew wtf to do but im worse off now as i lost a screw :/

any ideas? these are the gen ones from fiat so people must know

On my replica abarths (yeah im cheap too) there are just self taping screws to put in at various places- no clip things.

Did you get any glue with them?

yes any screws, clips etc

I just glued mine on then held them on for about 20 mins (making sure they didn't slip) before holding them tightly with masking tape and letting them dry for a few hours!

No screws, etc required!

what glue did you use? i have this black looking **** is it the right one.

looks more like sylicone (id i spell that right) than glue

Is that from Fiat? That may be a sealant \ adhesive thats generally used. whats its part number? Cos that may be the same stuff I have for my sump!

well i just stuck em on with the glue....seems to be solid as anything so 4 days with them on and no probs

if that is just sealent then the slightest bit of wind gets between them and your body and the car behind you will have a shiny new bonnet decal...hee hee..
although i know a pratt who stuck his on wiv no-nails....wot a div.
i just tapped the screws into a small pilot hole i drilled in the chasis on my old capri. then put some sealent into that hole before i put the screw in. they stayed on for 8 months wiv no probs before some git crashed into me..

well this **** i had was no ordinary sealant dunno what it is but it stick proper!

no probs and its solid as hell
