A bit far for you but theres an alloy wheel place near me that charges £25 to straighten buckled wheels (without paint though) if you want it painted then the charge another 45 on top.

ok i've been doing some diy and it's turned out quite well, i let the tyre down first then took a 2 by 2 to it with a lump hammer at the other end! gonig to finish it off tomorrow with a rubber mallet thing then all should be fine, go to garage and get it balanced again :p

On aluminum your mad
Alloy doesn't respond well to being bent back and generally cracks and fails due to the stresses involved i'd bit the bullet and order a new alloy rather that than the rim splitting leaking out all the air at 70mph..

EDIT: and from the first picture it looks like the side wall of that tire is knackered

he's right, your better off getting a new alloy as it'll be a lot weaker now and if you hit another hole in the road going 50 then it prob won't just be your alloy thats broken...it's not worth the risk if you ask me. thing is where can you get another 15" speedline alloy? they're rare as fook!

:yeahthat:

oooohhh that wheels fudged mate, they are rare wheels, contact mangalesti, as the wheel is now significantly weaker, if youve bashed the alloy into shape again, you've ruined it, sorry, should have waited, and just used your spare for now.

Yeah it is in dartford dont know if its the same place you thinking of (opposite a shel garage) they should do just spraying but if its just painting you need done why not do it yourself?

yeah im gnna give it a go myself but need a backup:p

any1 painted alloys whilst they are on a car?

will it just require more taping off and making everything paint proof?

well you have driven for so long without alloys, i know you all excited about your new wheels but why not take a bit more time to get them right and just drive a while longer on your steelis instead of the agravation of masking everything up on the car and still getting overspray everywhere>?
