how to remove and replace a bonnet mk2

hiya

my bonnet and bumper were messed up in a car accident.

does anyone have instructions on how to remove the bonnet and replace it with another one?

I've bought a BLACK bonnet, but my car is Gun Metal Grey - will it be okay to respray to my colour later?

im going to get a mate to fit the bonnet for now until i have enough money to respray and get it fitted proffessionally.

yea but need instructions on how to do this.

Thank you!!

There are 4 screws holding the bonnet to the hinges (2 on each side of the bonnet at the back near the windscreen) remove the 4 bolts and the pipes for the windscreen squirters and replace the bonnet with the new one, when putting the bolts back try and tighten them up on the old marks and dont forget to connect your windscreen squirter pipes again, Yes it will be fine to respray the bonnet later on.
