2010 fiat punto blue and me.

i have been playing music from my samsung galaxy s2 with no problems since i got the car although i do have to manually connect it as a media device through the phone menu.
All of a sudden it has stopped working, there is nothing in the media player menu there is only the usb options (autoplay shuffle etc) no advanced usb options. It will charge the phone though.
The phone will connect to the pc no problem and play music through that.
I have also tried plugging a usb pen drive gain which plays fine through pc. Its just not recognising there is anything there.
Any ideas or tips gratefully appreciated.

Try removing the radio fuses and placing them back in.

Better removing the battery (disconnecting) for 30-60 min to reset the entire CANbus system
