Any suggestions how to get Blue&Me to play iPod album tracks in order, rather than alphabetically? Does changing the ID3 tags actually work? Mine all seem to be set to 'none' on iTunes at the moment.

The above was the suggestion the last time this was discussed on here, but that was a couple of years ago, so I wondered if things have changed.

Thanks,
Julie

For myself I found this workaround
1) Copy all music to a new directory. I did that because I didn’t want to screw up my iTunes Library
2) Start iTunes holding the [shift] key. This gives you the opportunity to make a second library (once you did that you always have to hold your shift while starting iTunes)
3) Get all your music in place in the second library
4) download the free program mp3tag from http://www.mp3tag.de/en/index.html (also in English)
5) Select in Mp3tag the your 'Fiat' folder
6) The great thing in iTunes is that all music files are numbered in the same way the music order on the original album
7) Select in mp3tag the option "filename-tag" This overwrites all track names in the Mp3 file with the file name (which is the same as the x -track name)
8) Open your iTunes 'fiat' library and select all songs and reset the playing count in iTunes
9) B&M will play the songs according the digits and not in alphabet.
Sorry for my English but as a guy from the Netherlands I did my best,

It works.

I updated all ID3 tags through itunes to v2.3 and now all my music on my ipod (all mp3) play in album order....

I am having the same issue. When I plug my iphone in, every song starts playing in alphabetical order and I have no idea how to change it.

The only way is to create a new itunes library? I don't know what buttons on the dash/wheel I should be pressing in order to navigate by artist. Any help?

Thanks!
