I'm not even trying to update to 5.4 (which is probably installed), i am trying to use the eco:drive application - which is NOT factory installed, but must be uploaded in the car via USB stick (and that process fails with error USB:10).

i have the same problemm (usb error: 10) i have tried 2 different usb,with different storage (8gb and 512mb) and the message was the same..i formmated them both and put again the files..but nothing...my new mobile doesn't work with the version i have now to my car..that's why i tried it!

Error 10 could be that your USB is already up to date.

Also, try downloading the files from Here, not the fiat.co.uk site.

with the new update should be ok with my phone but it doesn't ....

I have tried today to update Blue&Me (ver. 5.4.11) of my car and I have received the USB error 10.

I have found on an italian forum the following procedure that has worked like a charm:

- disconnect for 5 min. the negative pole of the car battery;
- reconnect it;
- proceed with the update.

Looked on the USB drive after it failed & there is a log filre saying error 02??????

I had a problem with the eco drive not downloading to the USB stick for a while.

It turned out that because I was using a USB with 2 drives, one secure and one not, the car was getting confused and couldn't download.

So if you have a USB with 2 drives it will not work.

Now using an 8GB which holds all my music and downloads the eco drive stuff onto it too.

I got USB Error 10 when trying to update my Grande Punto.

I went back to the site, and if you page down from the "Download 5.6" you can download 5.5.

I did this first, then updated to 5.6 and it worked fine, using the same USB stick, just formatting it in between each update.

Blue & Me still does not work though!

Hello my friend, I'm from Brazil, I have a point t jet 1.4 16v I can not update the blueme of my car, I've followed all the steps of the site, but I do not find the BMConf.xml file how did you get this file? My does not appear I can not update due to lack of BMconf.xml file of error 10 help me, my whatsapp 55 92 98407-0909 elizeu mendes

Sorry.. I am no expert.. like you I just followed the instructions..
I uploaded the items they said onto the memory stick..
Attached it to port on the car.. turned ignition on.. let it do its thing..
And when it said “complete” switched off and removed memory stick..
When I put the memory stick back in the computer the BMconf file was on there..
