Okey Kokey, Guys -

I have an 80 gig ipod classic that is formatted for Mac. Obviously not going to work with Bue&Me, so I have a dilemma - Do I reformat to PC(hell)? What're everyone's successes/dilemmas? I've bought an 8 gig Sony Walkman to run on B&M (works great) which I thought would be OK, but obviously I'm missing loads of tracks which I thought I could do without! Fretting desparately for the songs I don't have with me .:(

Have just added my iTunes Library to my hubby's PC (he doesn't know - far too precious about his laptop!!) - but do I defect to the dark side?

What do you think?????

You don't have to always use the iPod on the Windows PC once it has been formatted as a Windows iPod. You just need to use a Windows PC to restore the iPod in Windows format, then you can plug it back into your Mac and sync as before. Just plug your iPod into the Windows PC and use the Restore facility on the iPod's summary screen:

Once you've restored the iPod in Windows, connect it to your Mac and it will say about it being synced with another library and whether you would like it to Sync with your Mac instead.

Remember: A Mac can read a Windows formatted iPod but Windows cannot read a Mac formatted iPod which is why the Blue&Me system can't read it.

So do I still need to convert all my songs to mp3 though or can I leave them as mp4?
