Hi guys, sadly my Barchetta has failed the MOT on excessive rust, mainly rear coils and suspension arms. There's chassis rust too but I think that can be welded up.
Can anyone advise me on where I might get hold of the rear springs and arms (triangles)? The springs don't seem to be too much of a problem but I can't find the arms anywhere.
Does any other Fiat parts fit the Barchetta?

Those rear arms are cast iron and therefore will be substantial and always have surface rust only.

What exactly did they fail the MOT on? I suspect it was on play in which case the swivel bearings should be able to be replaced.

According to ePER those rear arms are unique to the Barchetta.

Also V84 of ePER valid Sept. 2014 shows Fiat still supplying these arms at approx £130 inc VAT each for non ABS cars and £165 inc VAT each for cars with ABS.

Have you checked with a Fiat dealer parts dept. to see if they are still listed. Won't be cheap but at least you will know what options are available.

Several EU parts suppliers are listing these arms as supposedly available at 200 euros each.

DTR have some of these arms ,they replaced my NS this time last year .

Don't remember how much they charged ,no idea where the invoice is .

Also Henk has them.

If not your type (eg ABS) give him a call I'm sure he will have them - he calls them "Supporting Arm"
