Hi all,

The headlights on my Barchetta are covered with a transparent film. This is now begining to peel off. I was wondering is this film something which all headlights have or has it been added later?

If it original, does anyone have any idea how to remove it completely and/or repair it?

hi, i think i had the same problem with mine, there was something on headlights. only way we managed to get it off was to mop and polish it, the compound has a certain amount of coursness to it so it comes off
 
Ours has the same problem. I contemplated rubbing it down with a very fine paste then varnishing them. Don't know how this will react with light going through them, but we don't use it much in the dark. I am also contemplating getting rid of the standard lights and doing something retro as part of the rebuild.
