Any way we could find out how many Barchettas are in the UK?

My thought is.... how do we get as many of those owners/barchettas together in one event?

How do we also get as many of those owners/barchettas to join the Fiat Barchetta UK Owners club?

According to the 2007 MOT dataset (currently the latest available), 1032 Barchettas passed an MOT in 2007, so that's a ball park figure. Doubtless it will be a few less now, but still quite a lot to try and round up..

You need to qualify what you are actually after:

Total number imported as new and sold by Fiat
Total as above plus imports
Total currently registered
etc.

Total number imported as new and sold by Fiat can be obtained by requesting the info from Fiat.

I've asked myself that question as well and am thinking about making a request for this information to the DVLA under the Freedom of Information Act. (http://www.dft.gov.uk/dvla/foi.aspx)

They should have figures for the number of Barchettas registered in the UK.
It might also be interesting to know how many of them are currently declared SORN.

It would be good to get a few more members on board. Just spent a great weekend down in Sussex with 12 barchettas. Good driving eating and drinking!

I am sure that I read somewhere that numbers were just under 1,000 on the UK roads - that was about a year ago.
