You let her decide if she likes the colour?! If the car is good you ignore the paint colour! After all it's only paint. More important to get a good shell, running gear and engine.

it was for her to own and drive... yes i know the obvious thing to do was to let her have mine and i get the other, but it just so happened i love mine and so the moment passed....sigh

seems to have fared ok. notice the abarth badge, turbo ie grill and numberplate are different, I wonder if it was front ended since you saw it.

No the Y10 turbo is 1050cc, thats a 1600cc Lancia Delta twin cam turbo engine 140bhp 140lbs.ft torque standard, very popular mod in europe to fit that engine as its a nicer unit than the Uno's.

It also has late spec Delta Turbo/early integrale wheels which makes me think he got a mangled Delta then engine/running gear, hopefully the brakes and wheels where transfered over.

if they could manage to get that engine in a y10/cinq/panda type thing then that would be very sought after! it would be pretty impressive y10, (the 1.0 non fire turbo in the y10's is enough for one of them things!)

I know someone who has built a Y10 with a 2L 8V turbo from an integrale and fitted the 4 wheel drive system as well, its been shown on here a few times Yintegrale many many pages covering the buidong o fit on here http://www.nyssa.ltd.uk/Y10/

just read thru the whole site and build, absolutly fannytastic!!! must have cost £40-50k for that lot!! Shame it didn't make it to the road!! blooody custom rad companies! they always screw up (well ours did for formula student :-(, and so the car couldn't run last year, just idle about the pits :-( :-(
