Panda (Classic) confused panda??

Eh?? It's a mk1 on a Y plate.?.yet it says it's 1993??....so much spent but it has the wrong stickers on the back and a modern interior?? Am I being dumb??..yep just as confused as you..

And cheap crap wheel trims...this could be very good..but it's not. It misses by a few important details.

We debated this once before I recall but not sure we noticed the mk1 bodywork last time.

Deffo saw one with that orrible grille and strange bits, claiming to be concours.

Can't bring myself to included it in the MK1 thread...but guess it should be there as that's what it is reg at. No idea if it was a 45 45cl 45s etc.

I think it is a mk1 shell with marbella front bumper headlights and a bent panda front grille. Can't fit the mk1 panda tailgate on a marbella so without major work that would be a no go and the scuttle panel below windscreen is panda not marbella. Again this could have been cut out and panda one welded in but more realistic that someone tarted up the mk1 with marbella parts because the mk1 parts are a biatch to get hold of and that's all they could find

:yeahthat:

It was nearly two years ago when we last discussed this car, still owned by the same Guy.
A couple of months after we discussed it I was approached by someone at a car show who new of an immaculate Panda that had been restored at a cost of £12,000. He gave me the no. of the owner and when I contacted him it turned out to be this one. He was asking £2000 at the time, I was going to view it but changed my mind.
I guess if the right Panda parts could be found it could be returned to original and make a very nice example, but I don't feel inclined to do it.
