Yeah wasn't the first production 4x4 the Jensen FF, oh no wait that's the first non offroad 4x4 isn't it...Jon I think you mean the first production car with a transverse engine and 4x4, it certainly wasn't the first production car!

Could you not shorten the prop shaft and bodge in a viscous couple, pinched from a freelander or some other soft roader?
In any case its a shame to see these old cars being sold off so cheap, what I think would be more interesting than just dropping in a 16v lump would be reclaiming the running gear for a punto 4x4 conversion as the chassis was apparently originally designed to accept the running gear
Another Sisley! Nice bunch of spares .
Ooh, just up the road from me.
INTERESTING DESCRIPTION TOO.
hello there chaps,
I found this whilst daydreaming on ebay tonight:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIAT-PANDA-CLASSIC-4X4-SISLEY-SPARES-OR-REPAIRS-/230933363868?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item35c4b37c9c
If that link doesn't work it is ebay ref 230933363868
I have a 53 reg Panda but would to own an original (especially a 4X4) just not very mechanically minded that's all. Anyway, hope this is of use to some one in the North East
Up to £240 now, well that nearly covers the value of the spares.
I think it'll sky rocket once the other red sisley sells, it has broken the £1500 barrier already.
Which red one is that? the only one I know of has finished unsold.
Meant the GREEN one
Too many Panda's for my small brain to cope with Ahhhh
