JUST got their prototype intake today from Road Race Motosports and here you go...


I believed everthing is included for installation except the heat-sheild to hold the 2nd piece(right one) in place which is still under development according to Rob. Total weight is 2950g=6.503lb minus the cardbox of course

, but how is this compare to other intakes?

The filter itself is actually K&N and wrapped around with a red-foam, don't know why it's needed but i am guessing for a better look maybe

Appearance wise is ok with the black power-coat which i believe they will do hot-red too. For me, i like the chrome-shiny surface better and i think they can use a nicer/bigger filter to stand out more!

Installation will happan later this week when my vehicle is fully run-in after 1st oil change for a more realistic result. In the meanwhile, i need to get used to going back in race-mode driving so i can really tell the difference afterward. RRM claims that this will increase boost from 18psi to 19psi, so stay tune....
