WARNING!

D5S & D8S are 25 Watt / 2000 lumen devices and as such DO NOT require self levelling system or headlamp washers

D1S/D2S/D3S & D4S are 35 Watt / 3200 and DO REQUIRE self levelling system AND headlamp washers!! Straight MOT failure is these systems are missing. Also illegal an will invalidate your insurance fitting 3200 lumen units to a vehicle only equipped to cater for 2000 lumen units.

I believe having looked that there is very little choice in who supplies them - Phillips being the main manufacturer who go onto say in their advertising info they are designed to be replaced by just the one bulb, at a time you don’t need to change both. Thought you had to so to avoid glare & contrast.
But they are not cheap I have looked on the internet & located some for £64-99 but some prices just shy of £200-00 a ‘bulb’-ouch!!
At the moment both ok but don’t like to not have a spare!

What ones did you get? Can you post a link?
Can't post a url link yet as i'm a newbie to the site, but i've been using these... Ring RW382LED 12v P21W 382 led 6000K ice white. Been using them for the last 10 months without any issues. They give off a nice crisp white light

I'd love to join you but I've failed at the first hurdle [emoji23][emoji23] Try as I may I just cannot get the black plastic pins to come out. I can raise them about 1/4 inch then nothing. Wimp [emoji23][emoji23]

Back to stock bulbs after one of the halfords LED's wasn't working properly. They tested the bulb in store at it was ok..probably cabus error..anyway i returned the bulbs and got a set of wipers. No fuss there from halfords although i had the bulbs more than a month or so.[emoji106][emoji106]
