I’ve been a member of the 500 page for some time having owned 31 Fiat 500s! As a hobby I buy crashed ones and repair them.
I’ve just bought a light damaged 2016 500X Cross Plus for me! Few issues. Dented drivers front and rear door, dented wing but my real issues are problems with the electronics.
Electronic handbrake doesn’t work. Neither does Hill start assist, abs light is on and drive mode doesn’t work. I’m assuming they are all linked to the same sensor/ECU. The rear offside wheel had been damaged and the car was on a space saver when I got it so I’m assuming the side swipe the car received has caused damage electronically.
I’ve got MES which I need to update to the latest version which covers the 500X so hopefully I can self diagnose.
