So the dealership agreed to change my creaking clutch pedal on my 500x.

They fitted a new Clutch pedal and just as I was about to set off to collect my car the dealership called to say don't come and collect it as the brand has caked to say don't release my car with the new clutch pedal as it is defective.

I guess the brand must be Fiat UK or Fiat FCA. So the dealer then ordered a replacement which took a couple days to arrive. On opening the box the replacements replacement was damaged.... You couldn't write it!

Then i was advised there are no more in the UK to order so the part has to come from Italy and would be 7-10 days.

Ive been left with the courtesy car the whole time which is good of the dealership but still frustrating.

17 days so far I've not had my car, nothing will be done over the weekend and I've no update to say the parts even arrived yet so who knows when I'll get it back.

Since buying the car since the beginning of May is hardly been out of the dealership for repairs. Was considering speaking to Fiat UK to see if they can do anything for the inconvenience.

Anyone had experience of this?

I haven't experienced the clutch problem as I have an auto, but my car was in the dealership on and off for about 3 months when I first bought the car. Not only did Fiat spend an obscene amount of money diagnosing and fixing the faults but I got a £200 voucher from CS for the inconvenience

My 2.0d 4x4 auto Cross in the workshop again, stuck in park intermittently. Almost 3 weeks first time, a week so far and no sign of a fix. Buying this car has probably been the biggest mistake of my car buying career as I have no faith in it. If its like this at 5k miles, how will it fare at 35k?

Obviously I have no idea what your fault is, but my 2.0MJ 4x4 Auto Cross Plus is now approaching 34,000 miles. It has had it's problems but none with the transmission. I used to hate it but now I love it

I am hoping that this will.be THE fix and that we can develop a proper relationship, as the car is very endearing when it moves. At the moment I just see the Fiat badge anywhere and cringe?
