Hi all, thank you for accepting me. I've browsed through a couple of threads and already had a ton of good information..
Anyway, I recently bought a semi new twinair S for the wife, and to be honest, every time I drive it it brings a smile to my face. So I will probably be the main driver of it now! Lol!
I've been fixing a couple of little things, but there is one thing that I can't find any info on it.
The door handle inside bolts and the bolts inside the fuel cap are rusted and an eye sore. Can they (or should they) be replaced?
Thanks (and sorry for the crappy English..)

Some pics..

That looks bad. I would say that´s definitely a case for replacement. Get them out and see what type they are. If metric, it´s easy. Get stainless steel, that´ll last longer. And put some grease with the screw when putting it in.

And welcome to the forum :)

Hi and thanks for the welcome! :)
I'm "mechanically challenged" so do you think these are safe to remove and to put back..? With the amount of rust, I'm worried they won't come out, and if they do, how easy they go back..

The Torx head one on the door shouldn't give an issue, the petrol ones, use a new correctly fitting bit held in a suitable holder such you can really push on then using another tool to strike/turn the holder?
Just so you know here's how the cap goes when filling up, not dangling on the cord scratching the paintwork.
