I’ve just bought another car today. A 2012 black 500c. I want to start ordering the parts but it’s difficult to tell whether it’s solid black or metallic black. I know my Abarth was metallic, ever so slightly but don’t want to end up with the wrong colour parts.

Does anyone know if there’s anywhere you can put in the reg or VIN to get the colour code?

No Reg or Vin option but is this any help. ( do you have 3 digit paint code from bonnet/boot?)

I bought the car today but not getting it until Monday but I want to start ordering the parts but not having it yet, all I know is it’s black. There are at least two black paint codes and names but I don’t know whether there is a solid black as well as the two which appear to be the same with different numbers and names.

That link does help though. I can see the two colours which are allegedly the same colour.
